The Training Manual for Women Entrepreneurs is an innovative educational tool developed under WOMENIN. Its mission is to promote female entrepreneurship and address the specific challenges faced by women entrepreneurs across Europe. This manual offers a detailed analysis of the barriers women face in countries like Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Poland, the Netherlands, and Cyprus, while providing practical solutions, educational resources, and effective strategies to overcome them.

Inside the manual, you’ll find a country-by-country analysis of the entrepreneurial landscape for women, providing insights into the specific challenges and opportunities in each country. You’ll also have access to valuable resources and tools, including funding opportunities, training programs, and capacity-building initiatives designed to support women entrepreneurs in their business ventures.
The manual uncovers the key challenges faced by women entrepreneurs, from access to finance to digitalization and networking, while offering practical strategies to navigate these obstacles. You will also find real-life testimonials from women entrepreneurs across Europe providing inspiring stories and valuable insights into overcoming the unique challenges they face.
Additionally, the manual offers global resources, including financing options, educational programs, and networking opportunities specifically tailored to women entrepreneurs. Finally, we have also included some recommendations to provide our insights and guide your entrepreneurial growth.
The full manual is available in English, and you can download individual summaries specific to each country. To make it easier for you, summaries are also available in the local languages of each country, so you can access the information in the national language for each country.

TRAINING COURSE FOR VET TRAINERS

The Training Course for VET Trainers is an integral part of WOMENIN, designed to equip educators with the knowledge and skills needed to empower women entrepreneurs across Europe. Through this course, VET trainers will learn how to effectively address the specific challenges faced by women in entrepreneurship, ensuring that their training is relevant, practical, and impactful.

The course focuses on creating a supportive environment for women entrepreneurs by providing trainers with essential tools and methodologies. It includes modules on understanding the barriers women face in areas like access to finance, digitalization, and networking, and offers strategies to overcome these obstacles.

The Virtual Escape Room is an exciting and innovative educational tool developed under WOMENIN to enhance learning and encourage collaboration among women entrepreneurs. It combines a fun, interactive experience with practical knowledge to help participants tackle real-world challenges in entrepreneurship.

This digital escape room offers a unique way to consolidate learning. Participants navigate through a series of challenges, each reflecting common obstacles faced by women entrepreneurs, such as finding funding, embracing digital tools, building networks, and expanding internationally.
As they progress, participants apply the knowledge gained from the WOMENIN training materials, reinforcing key skills in a practical and engaging way. Additionally, the escape room promotes collaboration and networking.
To make the experience accessible to everyone, the escape room is available in multiple languages, reflecting the diversity of its participants. It’s not just an educational tool—it’s an opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with like-minded women across Europe.

World 1: Laying the foundation
Start your entrepreneurial journey by learning how to secure funding and pitch your ideas with confidence to potential investors.
World 2: Expanding internationally
Discover how to take your business global. You’ll develop strategies for building a professional website, leveraging social media, and conducting market research to tailor your products for international audiences.
World 3: Building networks
Master the art of networking by navigating public fairs, participating in conferences, and following up on new connections to create lasting professional relationships.

How can you play?
Getting started is simple! Follow these steps to jump into the game:
1. Download Minecraft Education Edition
Visit the Microsoft Store and download the Minecraft Education Edition app that’s compatible with your device.
Set up your account and acquire free trial or a license. If you’re part of an educational institution, you may qualify for discounts.
2. Free Trial Option
If you have an Office 365 Education or Microsoft 365 Education account, you can start a free trial. Visit the Get Started Guide for details.
Alternatively, you can try demo lessons for free with limited functionality (e.g., your progress won’t be saved).
3. Set Up and Play
After installing Minecraft Education Edition, download the WOMENIN Escape Room files.
Open the file, start the game, and immerse yourself in a world of entrepreneurial challenges!
